Small Business Development Center offers Quickbooks software workshop to organize cluttered desktops

Fort Hays State University's Small Business Development Center will present "Recordkeeping with Quickbooks."

The three-part workshop in FHSU's McCartney Hall, room 103, will teach participants how to use Quickbooks management software to create a bookkeeping system.

Session No.1 will be 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27. This session will introduce Quickbooks and teach recordkeeping and list management.

Session No. 2, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, will cover setting up inventories, invoicing, processing payments, and customizing and designing forms.

The final session, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, will cover payrolls, sales tax and creating reports.

Sheryl Davis, CPA and assistant director of the Small Business Development Center, will be the instructor.

The workshop is available to the public and is encouraged for businesses wanting to manage important information.
