FHSU's Virtual College sets open house in Garden City to showcase degree programs for working adults

Jim Groth, Fort Hays State University's director of Virtual College Off-Campus Centers, has scheduled an open house in Garden City to exhibit degree programs geared specifically for working adults.

The open house will run from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in the Endowment Room in the Student Union at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive.

Degree programs are available in business, English, human services, leadership studies, sociology, communication, history, information networking, nursing, teacher education and more.

The Virtual College, with course work through Internet, video, CD and other media, offers the benefits of a university degree to people who cannot afford to leave home and job to obtain an education.
