FHSU's Virtual College sets open house in Dodge City to showcase degree programs for working adults

Jim Groth, Fort Hays State University's director of Virtual College Off-Campus Centers, has scheduled an open house in Dodge City to exhibit degree programs geared specifically for working adults.

The open house will run from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in the Ford County Room in the Student Union at Dodge City Community College, 2501 N. 14th Ave.

Degree programs are available in business, English, human services, leadership studies, sociology, communication, history, information networking, nursing, teacher education and more.

The Virtual College, with course work through Internet, video, CD and other media, offers the benefits of a university degree to people who cannot afford to leave home and job to obtain an education.
