Three people from Fort Hays State University have been selected for the 2003 Leadership Hays Class.

Dr. Mary Martin, assistant professor of business administration, Mary Meier, administrative assistant to the dean of the Virtual College, and Dr. Robert Scott Jr., Assistant Provost and associate professor of justice studies, will all be part of the 13th annual Leadership Hays class.

The Hays Area Chamber of Commerce will begin the class on Jan. 14, 2003. This year's program will consist of eight sessions covering topics such as education, health and human services, business, finance, industry, and community development.

The Leadership Hays program is designed to give area citizens an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, network with community leaders and get a firsthand view of the workings of both our community government and a variety of area businesses.
