FHSU Astronomy Club to host viewing of planets
01/22/2003

The Fort Hays State University Astronomy Club is inviting the campus community to a viewing of Jupiter and Saturn at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Albertson Hall Observatory, room 412.
Participants will get a chance to look through an instrument dating back to 1932 and view rings, moons and cloud tops of Saturn as well as the equatorial belts and moons of Jupiter.

For all club members, a business meeting at 8 p.m. in Albertson Hall, room 423, will precede the viewing.

In case of cloudy weather, members should still attend the business meeting. However, telescope maintenance will be performed rather than the viewing of the planets.

New members are welcome to attend.
