Musical performances by Fort Hays State University music faculty and students, plus a dinner, will highlight the Scholarship Musicale, which will also benefit music scholarships at the university.
The recommended donation is $50 to attend the musicale, scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, Sunday, April 10, in the lobby of FHSU's Sternberg Museum of Natural Sternberg Museum, 3000 Sternberg Drive in Hays.
Performances will feature Bradley Dawson, assistant professor of music, trumpet; Ben Markley, Chapman senior, piano; Kathleen Flynn, instructor, mezzo-soprano; Dr. Jennifer Rhyne, instructor, flute; Dr. Jeff Jordan, assistant professor, composer and conductor; Renetta Dawson, Hays, horn; Matt Means, assistant professor, violin; David Kassler, assistant professor, euphonium; Dr. James Brown, assistant professor, tenor; Kristin Pisano, instructor, clarinet; Kay Werth, instructor, oboe; Mel Sauer, Hays, clarinet; Dean Kranzler, instructor, percussion; Dr. Dan Delisi, associate professor, cello; and Pam McGowne, program specialist and staff accompanist, piano.
