Robert Bruce Scott, assistant professor of Special Education and English for speakers of other languages at Fort Hays State University, was the Kansas delegate to the TESOL Affiliate Council and presented a workshop, "Building and Becoming Local Networks of TESOL Professionals," recently at the International TESOL Convention in San Antonio, TX.

TESOL is the association of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, which has nearly 15,000 members worldwide. Scott will complete his year of service as president of the Kansas TESOL affiliate this June. He is the webmaster of the group's Web site, www.fhsu.edu/katesol/.
