FHSU Classified Senate inviting other classified employees to budget presentation by state legislators

Classified employees of Fort Hays State University, through their Classified Senate, are inviting other classified state employees in the region to presentations and a Q-and-A session on the state budget, and its effects on classified employees, from State Sen. Janis Lee, D-Kensington, and State Rep. Eber Phelps, D-Hays.

The presentations will be at the annual meeting of the FHSU Classified Senate, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the Black and Gold Room of FHSU's Memorial Union.

The FHSU Classified Senate, with 16 senators from various constituencies, was formed in 1982 to serve as a link between the more than 300 classified employees of the university and the administration.
