Several Fort Hays State University faculty members from the College of Business and Leadership presented papers the Southwest Business Symposium at the University of Central Oklahoma on March 31 and April 1.
Michael J. Martin, instructor of management and marketing, presented "Contingency Theory and the University Organization: Setting the Stage for Continuous Quality Improvement."
Dr. Robert Meier, professor of accounting and information systems (AIS), and Philip Martin, instructor of AIS, presented "University Students' Conceptions of Probability: Year 2."
Dr. Jerrold Stark, professor of management and marketing, Meier, and Joan Rumpel, assistant professor of AIS, presented "Cell Phone Usage and Features: Students and Alumni."
Stark and Meier presented "Selecting a Brand: One College's Experience."
