FHSU SBDC offers survival strategies for small retailers

Fort Hays State University´┐Żs Small Business Development Center is providing a six-hour seminar called "Survival Strategies for the Small Retailers."

It will cover the 92 best practices of small retailers. Topics include: Customers and Marketing; Merchandising; Store Operations; Management; Human Resources; and Finance.

The seminar will be offered at the following locations on the specified dates.

Great Bend Jan. 25 Feb. 8 Chamber office
Hays Jan. 26 Feb. 9 Chamber office
Phillipsburg Jan. 27 Feb. 10 Huck Boyd Foundation

All seminars will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Survival Strategies for the Small Retailers is sponsored by Peoples/WestPlains, UtiliCorp United Inc., and the Great Bend, Hays and Phillipsburg
Chambers of Commerce.
