Adams presents two papers at Purdue University

Dr. Paul Adams, Anschutz professor of education at Fort Hays State University, was invited to present two papers at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in February.

The first paper was "A Case Study on Changing University Faculty Perceptions of Effective Teaching." He was assisted with this paper, as part of a National Science Foundation Grant, by Dr. Germaine Taggart, associate professor of teacher education; Dr. John Heinrichs, associate professor of geosciences; Dr. James Hohman, chair of the Department of Chemistry; and Donna Bogner, a retired chemistry professor from Wichita State University.

The second paper was titled "Engaging the Community in Science and Mathematics: A Vision for a Science and Mathematics Center."
