A new temporary exhibition, titled "Diversity Endangered," opened on Jan. 22 at the Sternberg Museum. The exhibition will be on display until April 25.
The exhibition deals with an increasingly important topic: the ongoing rapid loss of biological diversity around the world. In just 15 panels of text and pictures, the exhibition explains some of the causes and consequences of this loss of biodiversity and identifies a few things we can do to minimize this loss.
The exhibition was produced by top scientists at the Smithsonian Institution with funding from the National Science Foundation. It is now owned by the Sternberg Museum.
