FHSU's Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds to perform concert

Fort Hays State University's Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds will perform a concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center.

Dr. Jeff Jordan, director of bands, and Dr. Robert Conger, associate director of bands, will conduct the program.

The program includes Gustav Holst's "First Suite in E-Flat," G.H. Huffine's "Them Basses" and the march from Paul Hindemith's "Symphonic Metamorphosis."

Conger will also be the featured artist of the evening and will perform Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Concerto for Trombone" and "Military Band."

Admission for the concert is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and children ages 13-18, and free for children under 12 and FHSU students with ID.
