Fort Hays State University's Dr. Stephen Kitzis, associate professor of psychology, and Joyce Wolfe, research associate at the Docking Institute of Public Affairs, gave two presentations at a recent conference in Washington, DC.
"Climate Monitoring: A Potential Catalyst for Systemic Change" discussed a unique approach to school climate measurement and its potential impact on systemic change in the schools.
"Validity and the Evaluator/Stakeholder Relationship" discussed the importance of the evaluator/stakeholder relationship as it is related to data quality.
The presentations were given as part of the 17th Annual American Evaluation Association Conference.
