Cathedral Concert at St. Fidelis Church in Victoria set for Dec. 12

Fort Hays State University's Department of Music will sponsor its 20th annual Cathedral Concert at St. Fidelis Church in Victoria on Thursday, Dec. 12.

This year's concert will feature the FHSU Concert Choir, Fort Hays Singers, Hays Community Choir and featured performances by Brad Dawson, Thomas Meagher and Dr. Ferenc and Marcella Cseszko.

Dawson, assistant professor of music, will perform a trumpet suite by Albinoni. Cseszko, assistant professor of music, and his wife, Marcella, will present a movement from "A Concerto for Two Violins" by Vivaldi.

Both the Cseszkos and Dawson will be accompanied by Meagher on the organ and/or harpsichord.
The FHSU Concert Choir and the Fort Hays Singers will be directed by Dr. Rager H. Moore II, associate professor of music. The Hays Community Choir will be directed by Dr. William Rayburn, assistant professor of music.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. and is free to the public. An early arrival is recommended for this event to obtain seating.
