Fort Hays State University's Kay Werth, instructor of music, in conjunction with Michelle Swinney, FHSU alumnus, will present a recital at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center.
The program will feature a variety of music that spans more than four periods of music, featuring works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Donizetti, Poulenc, Hindemith and Burns.
Werth will perform on flute, oboe, English horn and bassoon. Swinney will perform on oboe and bassoon. Dr. Junghwa Lee, assistant professor of music, will assist them on the piano.
The recital will also be performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Sams Chapel on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina. |
