Students of Fort Hays State University's Department of Psychology attended the Psychological and Educational Research in Kansas conference in Lawrence on Nov. 9.
This annual conference allows for undergraduate and graduate students alike to present their own research -- done either independently, in groups or with faculty members -- and to attend presentations to see first-hand what kind of research is being throughout the state.
"Attending and presenting at conferences such as PERK," said Janele Davignon, Damar senior, "helps to build the research background knowledge that is essential for students applying for graduate and doctoral programs."
