Graphic design students learn new software programs at workshop

Several Fort Hays State University graphic design students recently participated in two days of workshops held at the university from Nov. 22-23.

The first workshop was held on Friday and was taught by Dee Erway, FHSU graduate student. Erway presented the basics of the software program Adobe InDesign.

The second workshop was held from 9-5 on Saturday and was taught by Travis Schlitter, FHSU graduate student. Schlitter presented information on the software program Final Cut Pro 3, which allows users to creatively edit digital video. Students learned the basics of the program by completing small projects.
