Centennial History Panels rotate to new locations

Fort Hays State University's Centennial History Panels have changed locations for November and, in October, added three new locations -- Ellis High School, Hays High School and Victoria High School.

Panels remain at Midwest Energy Inc., 1330 Canterbury Road, Hays Regional Airport and Student Government Association offices in Memorial Union on the FHSU campus.

Three panels on men's and women's basketball are up for November at Ellis High School. Hays High School has three panels, one on Alumni Achievement Award winners, one on the buildings at FHSU and one on track. At Victoria High School are three panels, one on women's softball, one on baseball and another on track and field.

The airport has four panels on Alumni Achievement Award Winners.

Midwest Energy has five panels on the history of the campus buildings and three panels on campus life at FHSU down through the century.

At the end of this month, all the panels will return to their place of origin, FHSU's Forsyth Library, for display during the final month of the university's Centennial year.

The panels were created by John Ross, director of FHSU's Forsyth Library, and other library staff to commemorate the university's Centennial.
