Small Business Development Center offers Quickbooks software workshop to organize cluttered desktops

Fort Hays State University's Small Business Development Center will present "Recordkeeping with Quickbooks."

The three-part workshop in WaKeeney will teach participants how to use Quickbooks, a management software that creates a bookkeeping system.

Session No.1 will be 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. This session will introduce Quickbooks and teach recordkeeping and list management.

Session No. 2, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, will cover setting up inventories, invoicing, processing payments, and customizing and designing forms.

The final session, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, will cover payrolls, sales tax and creating reports.

The workshop is available to the public and is encouraged for businesses wanting to manage important information.

The deadline for early registration at a cost of $150 is Nov. 5. After Nov. 5 the cost will be $170. To register, call (785) 628-6786.
