The Nu Zeta Chapter of the International Honor Society for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, wrapped up its year-long 10th anniversary celebration with a Founder's Day program at the Tea Rose Inn on Oct. 3.
Nu Zeta member alumni, faculty and students participated in the festivities by masquerading as the honor society's 1922 founders.
The member recognition tea was held at the Tea Rose Inn, a Victorian-era Bed and Breakfast, and included the Founder's Day Program "Passion and the Profession: Visions for Our Future Drawn from Our Past," by Dr. Janice Unruh Davidson, Nu Zeta President.
Costumed members introduced as founders also included FHSU nursing student Katy Roberts; FHSU Student Health Nurse Lottie Porsi; and FHSU nursing faculty Sue Boos, Jo Ann Doan and Billie Groth.
A short business meeting followed the program.
