Representatives from the Fort Hays State University Communication Department recently attended the Allied Academics International Convention in Las Vegas, NV.

Dr. Carrol Haggard, chair of the department, and Heather Alexander, graduate student, presented the paper "Terry Weber's Personal and Professional Worlds Collide: An Examination of Workplace Relationships."

Alexander originally developed the case study in a graduate class on gender communication. The paper is a description of the use of a case study as strategy for teaching when dealing with sexual harassment issues.
