Fort Hays State University's Dr. Nancy Blume, associate professor of nursing, was appointed the new coordinator of the Elderlinks Center of Western Kansas.

Blume is replacing Dr. Liane Connelly, FHSU associate professor of nursing, who has been appointed as the new assistant chair of the Department of Nursing at FHSU.

As coordinator, Blume will direct the interdisciplinary gerontology minor, the gerontology bachelor of general studies and the master of liberal studies and the nursing home administration programs. She will also organize the development of new projects and grants related to the Elderlinks Center.
