Fort Hays State University's Stephen Schleicher, assistant professor of information networking and telecommunications, has been signed to a book deal with New Riders Publishing.

The book will cover Adobe After Effects, the leading compositing and special effects software package used by movie and video production professionals.

"This type of selection shows the respect that industry has for Professor Schleicher," said Dr. Mark Bannister, chair of the Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications. "His skills and knowledge mean that we are able to offer unique educational opportunities for Fort Hays State University Media Studies students."
