ort Hays State University's Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art will have its first opening reception of the fall from 6:30-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
The reception, one venue of the annual Fall Gallery Walk, will display the prints and drawings by Craig Calnan and Jim Munce from Kansas State University.
Munce, who earned a master of fine arts at the University of Indiana, has been teaching printmaking at Kansas State since 1972. His work contains imagery drawn from themes in Christian literature.
Calnan, who studied under Munce at K-State, offers a window into the fantasy world through his image making.
The exhibit by Calnan and Munce opens the fall schedule of the gallery and will remain on display until Sept. 27. The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
