FHSU professor named to Quality Nurse Practitioner consulting program

The National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties has named a panel of nurse practitioner curriculum experts for its new consultation program promoted as Q-NONPF.

The panel of consultants can be found on the NONPF Web site: www.nonpf.com (under Q-NONPF) and includes Dr. Janice Unruh Davidson, professor of nursing at Fort Hays State University.

The NONPF Consultation for Quality Nurse Practitioner Education Program (Q-NONPF) is a multi-tiered quality improvement program offered by NONPF faculty consultants. The consultation service offers support to faculty and programs in meeting evaluative criteria for their programs centered on national guidelines, competencies, domains, and criteria for all graduate nurse practitioner programs and specialties.

Dr. Davidson is the only Kansas nurse to be selected as a consultant for Q-NONPF, and is one of only 20 national consultants to be featured on the Web site.
