Centennial History Panels rotate to new locations

Fort Hays State University's Centennial History Panels have changed locations for June.
The history panels were created by John Ross, director of FHSU's Forsyth Library, and other library staff to commemorate the university's Centennial.

Eight panels on display at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, 3000 Sternberg Drive, include scenes from fall athletic endeavors and general campus life over the university's 100-year history.

Five-panels on exhibit at Commerce Bank, 718 Main St., depict spring athletics and teaching at the university.

A new site for the panels is Midwest Energy Inc., 1330 Canterbury Road, where eight panels show the history of the university's buildings.

Another new location is Hays Municipal Airport, where four panels on winter sports are on display.

The panels stay in each location for approximately one month.
