Faculty make presentations at Mobile Teaching and Learning Conference

Four Fort Hays State University faculty members made presentations at the recent Mobile Teaching and Learning Conference at FHSU.

The faculty members who participated in a panel discussion were Dr. Beth Walizer, assistant professor of teacher education; Dr. Kathi Sanders, assistant professor of teacher education; Dr. Paul Adams, Anschutz professor of education and physics; and Dr. Sue Jacobs, assistant professor of teacher education.

The Teacher Education Mobile Computing Pilot Program was the topic of presentation and discussion. The Department of Teacher Education described its involvement in the Mobile Computing Pilot this past academic year, and the panelists gave a short presentation on innovations in instructional strategies, pedagogy, communication and curriculum modifications that have been brought to the classrooms with the use of laptop computers, iPods and various other technological advancements.
