On April 8, fierce, brutal competition will separate the strong from the weak, the nimble from the slow and the brave from the mama's boys, at the most exciting, fierce, fight-till-the-end competition known to Fort Hays State University: the Second Annual Dodgeball Tournament.
The last team standing will leave with more than the satisfaction of triumph and glory; they will also receive $150.
Members of the Fort Hays University Marketing and Management Club and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity will begin their Second Annual Dodgeball Tournament fundraiser at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 8, at Cunningham Hall's practice gyms on the FHSU campus.
Proceeds will fund Marketing and Management Club's annual professional trip to Minneapolis, MN, and SAE's trip to Leadership School in Evanston, IL.
Teams must be made up of at least six members with optional alternates. The tournament will accept a maximum of 32 teams, with fees of $10 per member. Registration deadline is March 31, and fees increase to $15 per member after this date.
