Students, faculty to display research work at second Science Research Showcase at FHSU

HAYS, KS -- Results of research by students and faculty at Fort Hays State University will be on display at the second annual Science Research Showcase, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 26, in the Black and Gold Room of the university's Memorial Union.

The event is sponsored by the FHSU chapter of the Sigma Xi Research Society, the Graduate School, and the Office of the Provost.

It is an opportunity for all faculty and students engaged in scientific research to exhibit their work and for people in the community to see the exciting research being done on campus.

Awards will also be made at a ceremony immediately after the display for the best posters in three categories (undergraduate student, graduate student and faculty) with cash prizes for the student categories. A panel of senior and retired faculty will judge the posters.
