Rathbun to read poetry at FHSU

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Department of English will sponsor a poetry reading by A.J. Rathbun at 8 p.m. Monday, April 8, in Rarick Hall, room 301.

Rathbun is the author of Want, published in Spring 2001 by the Creative Arts Book Company/ZYZZYVA.

He earned an undergraduate degree from Kansas State University in 1993 and an MFA from Western Michigan University in 1996.

Rathbun's poems have been published in a variety of national magazines, including Crazyhorse, Fox Cry Review, Gulf Coast, The Poetry Miscellany, and The Sonora Review.

He currently lives in Seattle and is co-editor of LitRag, a literary journal based out of Seattle, which has an online component at www.litrag.com.
