HAYS, KS -- Dr. Amy Finch, chair of the Department of Communication Disorders at Fort Hays State University and a professor in the department, has been elected a fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Fellowship is one of the highest forms of recognition given by ASHA of an individual’s outstanding professional achievements. New fellows will be recognized formally with a presentation at the ASHA Convention in San Diego, CA, on Nov. 19.

Dr. Fred Britten, professor of communication disorders at FHSU, became an ASHA Fellow in 2001.
