FHSU's Davidson to present research at nursing conference in Australia

HAYS, KS -- Dr. Janice Unruh Davidson, professor of nursing at Fort Hays State University, and Margaret DeJong, nurse practitioner at the Hospital Lumiere in Bonne Fin, Haiti, have co-authored an international research paper accepted for presentation at the International Council of Nursing's Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nursing Network meeting in Australia later this year.

The paper is titled "Evidence-Based Practice and Cultural Competence: Contributions of Nurse Practitioners to the International Community." Davidson is nationally board certified as a family nurse practitioner; she is also certified in nursing administration and nursing informatics.
