HAYS, KS -- Students in the agribusiness firms marketing and management class at Fort Hays State University took two field trips recently to visit ag-related businesses.

On March 28, the class toured south central Kansas, stopping at the AgCo farm implement manufacturing plant in Hesston, Prairie Force Products in Hutchinson, and poultry producer Cal-Maine Foods in Chase.

The April 5 trip took students to the Excel beef processing plant and Farmland Industries anhydrous plant in Dodge City; in Garden City, they visited Reaves Ag Energy.
