FHSU Department of Technology Studies hosts Toys for Tots Day

Fort Hays State University's Technology Studies Department will host the 16th annual Toys for Tots Day at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in Davis Hall, room 150.

Volunteers from the campus and community join together to make Christmas toys for the area needy children, and then the toys are distributed by the "Teaming Up For Tots" organization. About 200 toys will be made for children in the community.

"Although there is plenty of work for all skill levels, we ask that children are accompanied by an adult," said Dr. Fred Ruda, professor of technology studies and chair of technology studies.

Media are welcome to come and go as their schedules allow.
