Piano recital set Thursday; Spring Music Concert set April 7; Reber recital canceled

HAYS, KS -- The guest faculty piano recital scheduled for Monday, April 1, by Dr. Richard Reber, University of Kansas, at Fort Hays State University's Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center, has been canceled.

However, the Thursday, March 28, guest faculty piano recital by Dr. Hyunsoon Whang, Cameron University, is still scheduled for 8 p.m. at Beach/Schmidt.

Ticket prices for the recital are $6 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and for students ages 13-18. FHSU students and children under age 12 are admitted free.

The Hays Spring Music Project Final Concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, in Beach/Schmidt. The concert features Sophia Gibbs Kim, Eastman School of Music, Community Education Division, flute; Melissa Burton, Houghton College, cello; Dr. Junghwa Lee, FHSU, piano, and Dr. Ferenc Cseszko, FHSU, violin.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and for students ages 13-18. FHSU students and children age 12 and under are admitted free.
