HAYS, KS -- Eight members of the Fort Hays State University College of Business and Leadership faculty will present papers at the Southwest Business Symposium at the University of Central Oklahoma on April 18, 2002.
Myra Jo Bates, instructor of business administration, will present "Educating Rita: A Possible New Target Market of Non-Traditional Adult Female Learners."
Dr. Fred Blume, assistant professor of computer and information systems, will present "Aspects of Student Usage of the World Wide Web."
Dr. Robert Meier, chair of the Department of Computer and Information Systems, will present "E-filing and Other Internet Usage: A College Student Survey -- Round 1" with Dr. Charles Gnizak and Joan Rumpel, assistant professors of business administration.
Meier and Michael Hassett, instructor of computer and information systems, will present "Using Quality Function Deployment in Curriculum Development: The Third Step" and "Qualified Admissions and Computer Technology: The First Year."
Meier and Dr. Jerrold Stark, professor of business administration, will present "Cellular Telephone and Handheld Electronic Notebooks -- Changes in Ownership, Satisfaction and Purchase Plans (2000-2001)."
