Astronomy Club to host its first observatory open house

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Astronomy Club will host its first observatory open house of the year to allow interested star lovers the chance to view planets Saturn and Jupiter.

The starlit observation will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 8. The program will take place, rain or shine, in Tomanek Hall, room 106, with a presentation by Dr. Tim Folkerts, assistant professor of physics and NASA Solar System ambassador, on the "Scale of the Universe."
