FHSU produces traveling Centennial History Panels

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University Centennial History Panels are now on display at some Hays businesses.

The history panels were created by John Ross, director of FHSU's Forsyth Library, and other library staff. The panels have been housed in Forsyth Library celebrating the university's centennial.

Five sets are now on exhibit.

The first set of eight panels focuses on the historic buildings of FHSU. The set of panels is in the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, 3000 Sternberg Dr.

A five-panel exhibit on Alumni Award Winners is at Emprise Bank, 1200 Main St.

Commerce Bank, 718 Main St., is displaying the FHSU exhibit on fall sports. The five-panel exhibit focuses on past and present fall athletics.

A three-panel exhibit on winter sports is at Sunflower Bank, 1010 E. 27th St.

A four-panel display on FHSU spring sports is in First National Bank, 1100 Fort St.

The panels will stay in the designated areas for approximately one month and will then rotate to a new location.
