HAYS, KS -- More than 40 health-care employers from seven states will be on the Fort Hays State University campus Feb. 20, and they will be here to hire.
The Allied Health Professionals Interview Day is the first time that such an event has been held on campus for health care professionals, providers and companies, said Dan Rice, director of Career Services at the university.
This day is open not only to graduates and students soon to graduate from FHSU, but to any qualified professional who shows up at the interview day, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the Fort Hays Ballroom in the FHSU Memorial Union. The day ends at 2:30.
"This is not just informational," said Rice. "These companies will be here to hire."
He said that more companies are signing up every day.
Companies from as far away as Arizona and Louisiana have signed up to come to the FHSU campus seeking professionals in nursing generalists and specialists, pharmacists, therapists, X-ray, radiologic technology, diagnostic imaging, communication disorders, social work, ultrasound and other imaging specialties.
