FHSU to host job search workshops


HAYS, KS -- Resume and cover letter writing, special interviewing techniques, do's and don'ts in looking for a job and helpful information on successful job search strategies for the 21st century will be the major topics discussed during job search workshops to be held Jan. 19 and 20 at Fort Hays State University.

The workshops are being sponsored by the FHSU Office of Career Services. Sessions begin at 7 p.m. on Jan. 19 and at 3 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the Black and Gold Ballroom in the Memorial Union.

Though the workshops are aimed at juniors, seniors and graduate students, anyone can attend. Information discussed is applicable toward all majors. The general public is also welcome.

All undergraduates interested in job search strategies for summer employment, part-time jobs and internships are encouraged to attend.
