HAYS, KS -- Dr. Mary Hassett, Fort Hays State University's chair of the Department of Nursing, was recently recertified as an informatics nurse.

Hassett was certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Washington, DC.

The nursing informatics certificate is based on education and recognition of knowledge, skills and abilities that are developed through experience in nursing informatics.
