FHSU students selected to exhibit in national venue

HAYS, KS -- Two Fort Hays State University art students have been selected to exhibit at a national venue held by the National Council on the Education for the Ceramic Arts.

Works by Stacey Letsch, FHSU senior, and Jayson Taylor, FHSU graduate student, were selected from 392 pieces entered. Only 41 pieces were selected for the conference and more than 30 colleges from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa and Arkansas were represented.

The exhibit will take place from March 1-April 31, 2002, at Leedy Voulkos Art Center in Kansas City.

The NCECA Student Exhibition will be one of two featured shows of the conference and will be seen by more than 3,000 spectators.
