FHSU students attend state convention

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University students from the Department of Health and Human Performance attended the annual state convention of the Kansas Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance in Topeka last fall.

The convention was attended by 400 professionals and students from around the state. FHSU received the KAHPERD Student Membership Award for the most student members. The department has won the award 18 of the last 20 years.

Breanna Butler, Great Bend senior, and Clint Merritt, Lebanon senior, were also recognized by the KAHPERD association as Majors of the Year.
