FHSU nursing professor named a Distinguished Lecturer by international nursing honor society

HAYS, KS -- Dr. Janice Unruh Davidson, professor of nursing at Fort Hays State University, has been named a Distinguished Lecturer by the International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau.

Davidson is featured on the Web (www.nursingsociety.org/resources/dis_lecturer), as the only Kansas nurse to be named to the distinction.

Sigma Theta Tau, with 120,000 active members, seeks to enhance the health of people worldwide by improving nursing scholarship and leadership.

Dr. Davidson, a member of the Fort Hays State University graduate faculty, maintains national board certification in nursing informatics; nursing administration, advanced; and as a family nurse practitioner.
