FHSU professor joins panel on nationally broadcast PBS program

HAYS, KS -- Dr. Robert Rook, chair of Fort Hays State University's Department of History, was one of three panelists on a live, nationally broadcast Public Broadcasting Service teleconference produced in Dallas, TX.

"Using Information Technology in a Traditional Classroom" was broadcast to more than 300 university and college campuses in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

Rook presented the results of his experience and research using instructional technology both in the traditional classroom and in distance education.

This presentation was part of PBS's "Instructional Technology Survival Skills: A How-to Skills and Strategies Series for Faculty" and was delivered via satellite on Nov. 29.
