Choate to present "A Naturalist's Sojourn in Africa"

HAYS, KS -- A photo safari of Kruger National Park will be just one of the topics discussed at Dr. Jerry Choate's presentation at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Engel Education Center in the Sternberg Museum.

Choate is the director of the Sternberg Museum of Natural History and a professor of biological sciences at Fort Hays State University.

Choate will present "A Naturalist's Sojourn in Africa," focusing on the topics of African culture, the political make-up of Africa after the current revolutions, the natural history of Africa and other topics.

Admission will be free for members of the museum and $1 for non-members.
