HAYS, KS -- Cisco Systems Inc.'s learning institute recently recognized Fort Hays State University's introduction to Web design curriculum as a "national success story."
The program is the offered through Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications and is part of FHSU's involvement in the Cisco Academies for Sponsored Curriculum.
A proposal by Fort Hays State University was selected by a consortium of leading information technology companies to serve as a national training center.
Cisco Systems, Adobe, and Sun Microsystems recently chose FHSU and 20 other institutions nationwide from a field of more than 110 applicants to serve as a national training center. FHSU was selected to serve the Great Plains and Mountain Front Range region. The next closest regional entities are in Texas, Minnesota and Utah.
