FHSU scholarship established to honor Rosetta McFarland of Norton

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Endowment Association has created a scholarship in honor of retired music educator and FHSU alumna Rosetta McFarland.

McFarland taught music at all levels of education for 26 years. She now teaches private lessons in piano, organ and voice and is the music coordinator for the Norton United Methodist Church.

Graduates of Norton Community High School enrolled in music classes at FHSU will be eligible to apply for this scholarship. It will be available for the 2002-03 academic year.
