FHSU to host multicultural fashion show

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Office of Multicultural Affairs presents the Multicultural Fashion Show Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center in Sheridan Hall.

The show will include ethnic fashions modeled from Africa, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mexico and Native American Cultures. Fashions will be modeled by members of the Black Student Union, the Hispanic American Leadership Organization and the International Student Union.

"The Multicultural Fashion Show will culturally enrich those who attend by allowing the audience to view the unique fashions around the world," said Sonia Esquivel, multicultural program advisor.

Audience members will have a chance to win gift certificates from Wal-Mart, Imperial Gardens, Taco Shop, Dillons and Dickinson Theaters.
